Trump announces the unblocking of the Strait of Hormuz by the United States
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he is opening the Strait of Hormuz for navigation.
“China is very happy that I am opening the Strait of Hormuz on a permanent basis. I am doing this for them and for the whole World. Such a situation will never happen again. They (China - ed.) have agreed not to send weapons to Iran. President Xi (President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping - ed.) will give me a strong and friendly hug when I arrive there in a few weeks,” Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.
“We are working together smartly and very well! Isn’t this better than fighting??? BUT REMEMBER, we are very good at fighting, if we have to - much better than anyone else!!!” Trump emphasized.
