USA does not take the agreement seriously - Iranian Foreign Minister
Threats to Iranian ships by American forces and illogical demands from Washington to Tehran confirm the unserious attitude of the USA towards resolving the situation in the Persian Gulf region.
This was stated by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araghchi, during a telephone conversation with Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.
"Threats to Iranian ports and ships, as well as Washington's illogical demands, prove the lack of seriousness of the USA regarding settlement in the region," he noted. Araghchi added that, in his opinion, "the contradictory position and violations by the USA of the ceasefire regime demonstrate America's ill intentions."
The head of Iran's Foreign Ministry emphasized that his country "will utilize all available means to protect its interests and national security." At the same time, he confirmed "the continuation of consultations to maintain peace and security in the region."
