In Florida, a plane crashed into a house yard, pilot killed
A small plane crashed into the yard of a house near the city of Tampa in the state of Florida.
This was reported by CBS News.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration, the Cessna aircraft, which departed from a northern Tampa airport, crashed around 08:35 local time under unknown circumstances. Only the pilot was on board, and they did not survive the crash.
After the plane fell, a fire broke out, causing 'some damage' to the house.
An investigation into the aviation disaster is currently underway.
