AZAL flights on Baku-Nakhchivan route resume
AZAL flights on the Baku-Nakhchivan route have resumed.
As reported by the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), flights are currently operating according to schedule.
It is noted that after weather conditions in the region stabilized, flight operations resumed in regular mode.
Recall that several Azerbaijan Airlines flights on the Baku-Nakhchivan route scheduled for July 6 were delayed due to a thunderstorm. According to the information, due to the geographical location and mountainous terrain of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the meteorological conditions observed in the region may have a direct impact on flight operations. In particular, strong winds, sudden changes in their direction, and thunderstorm activity create additional risks during takeoff and landing.
