Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leila Aliyeva took part in the presentation of the exhibition "Azerbaijani Carpets – From Tradition to Contemporary Art" at the Ethnographic Museum in Budapest.

On the exhibition, organized on the initiative of Leila Aliyeva, rare historical carpets from the 17th–20th centuries are displayed, as well as traditional textile samples, national costumes, jewelry, carpet sketches, and works of contemporary art.

In the exhibition, which opened on June 25, visitors have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the ornaments of Karabakh, Shirvan, Baku, and other historical regions, as well as with the distinctive carpet-weaving traditions distinguished by high craftsmanship.
