Rubio discussed European security and the situation around Iran with the UK foreign secretary

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a meeting with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.

In a message published on the social network X, Rubio noted that the parties discussed the need for Europe to play a more significant role in ensuring its own security.

Also, according to him, they reaffirmed their shared commitment to maintaining open transit through the Strait of Hormuz and preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
