An explosion occurred in Damascus, there are fatalities and injured

At least seven people were injured as a result of an explosion that occurred in a minibus in the Jamarana suburb on the outskirts of Damascus.

As TASS reports, this was announced by Syria's Ministry of Health to the Al-Ikhbaria television channel.

"At the moment, the number of injured has reached seven," medical workers reported. According to them, a forensic medical examination of the remains of the dead is being carried out. The possible number of victims is not given at this time. Hospitals and emergency departments have been placed on heightened alert.

According to preliminary data, an explosive device was detonated in the minibus.
