Germany records a record surge in UFO reports
Germany is seeing a record increase in the number of reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
As Axar.az reports citing Euronews, the director of the Central Research Network for Unusual Sky Phenomena (CENAP), Hansjürgen Köhler, stated that the organization receives between three and six such reports daily. By August, the total number of cases studied by CENAP specialists had reached 14,000, although the specific period during which these statistics were collected is not specified.
According to the center's experts, in the overwhelming majority of cases citizens mistake ordinary airplanes, satellites, meteors, balloons, or reflections from laser shows for extraterrestrial objects. At the same time, the research network notes that citizens often express dissatisfaction with the organization's skeptical approach and its desire to find rational explanations for anomalous phenomena.
