Man tried to open a plane's emergency exit at an altitude of 9 km - VIDEO
During a flight from Malaysia to India, 36-year-old Jamsheer Athanikkal tried to open the aircraft's emergency exit hatch at an altitude of 9,000 m because he "just felt like it."
As 1news.az reports, the video of the incident was published by The Sun.
The footage shows staff struggling with the man in front of frightened passengers. According to the outlet, while trying to open the hatch, Athanikkal threatened those around him.
In the end, crew members and other travelers subdued the troublemaker, and his hands were tied with plastic zip ties.
It is specified that Athanikkal was arrested. He was flying home to see his newborn child.
