Mirzoyan and Sybiha discussed the regional situation

Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held his first phone conversation since his reappointment with his Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sybiha.

This was reported by the press service of Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the conversation, Sybiha congratulated Mirzoyan on his reappointment to the post.

It is also noted that the interlocutors reviewed issues on the bilateral agenda and exchanged views on the regional situation and recent developments.

"I had a good conversation with Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan," said Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.

"We discussed the development of Ukrainian-Armenian relations and ways to further advance the bilateral dialogue. We continued our high-level contacts, which also took place at the European Political Community summit in Armenia.

We exchanged views on regional developments and the importance of stability and security in our regions for common European security.

We agreed to stay in close contact and to continue developing Ukrainian-Armenian cooperation," Sybiha wrote.
