Colombia declares three days of mourning for earthquake victims
The authorities of Colombia have declared three days of mourning in memory of the victims of the powerful earthquake.
The corresponding decree was signed by the country's president, Abelardo de la Espriella.
"National mourning is declared for three days in memory of the victims," the presidential administration said in a statement.
During this time, the national flag will be lowered to half-mast at all government buildings in the country, as well as at Colombia's embassies and consular offices abroad.
According to the latest data, 254 people were killed as a result of the magnitude 7.4 earthquake.
