Russia has created a financial system that bypasses sanctions
A parallel financial infrastructure has taken shape in Russia, allowing companies to continue foreign trade despite Western sanctions.
One of its key elements is the A7 payment network, which handles nearly 20% of foreign trade (more than $100 billion a year) under conditions of sanctions isolation.
The system masks direct links between counterparties by combining transfers through intermediaries in different countries, banks, and cryptocurrencies. This makes it possible to purchase anything, up to and including equipment for the military-industrial complex.
