Two vessels of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) came under attack in the Strait of Hormuz; there were no casualties.
This was stated in a statement transmitted by the Emirati news agency WAM.
"On the evening of August 13, two of the company's vessels came under attack while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. As a result of the incident, no one was hurt, and the situation is under control," ADNOC indicated.
In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE placed responsibility for the attack on Iran. Abu Dhabi also demanded that Tehran halt its aggressive actions and "fully and unconditionally open the strait."
