Media: Zelensky cannot find a Ukrainian ambassador to the U.S. — all candidates refuse
After the dismissal of Olha Stefanishyna from the post of Ukraine's ambassador to the U.S., no one wants to take up this position.

The publication notes that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has run into a problem, as he cannot find a suitable person. Sources explained that he is trying to find a diplomat who has enough influence to represent Kyiv in the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump. However, potential candidates do not want to take on this task.
On August 3, Zelensky dismissed the republic's ambassador to the U.S., Olha Stefanishyna. Later, on August 5, NABU and the country's Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office served Stefanishyna with a notice of suspicion. The reason could have been her illicit enrichment.
