Araghchi: decision on resuming talks with the U.S. has not yet been made
Iran has not yet made a decision on resuming talks with the United States.
This was reported by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, whose statement was cited by the ISNA agency.
According to him, a decision on resuming the talks has not yet been made, despite the activity of mediators in the form of Qatar and Pakistan in exchanging messages and maintaining contacts.
The communication channels that existed previously have lost their effectiveness; Iran is now developing a temporary option that may become permanent. The Iranian foreign minister did not specify which communication channel he was referring to.
Araghchi recalled that, according to the Islamabad memorandum, the parties committed to ceasing military operations. The United States violated this agreement.
