Poland holds the largest military parade in the country's history

A military parade marking Polish Army Day is taking place in Warsaw, and it has become the largest in the country's history.

The broadcast is being carried by the TVP Info television channel.
About 1,800 servicemen, more than 300 pieces of ground equipment and 60 aircraft are taking part in the event, including the first American F-35 fighter jet delivered to the Polish army.

Servicemen from the United States, Canada, Australia, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden, Estonia and other countries joined the parade. The largest group among the allies was made up of French troops, including a unit of the Foreign Legion.

The television channel notes that representatives of Ukraine were not invited to the parade.
Meanwhile, a naval parade is taking place in the city of Gdynia on the Baltic Sea coast, attended by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. In his speech, he emphasized that the republic would like to "avoid participation in wars."
