Masoud Pezeshkian speaks of heavy blow dealt to Iran's economy by two wars

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced a serious deterioration in the country's economic situation due to the consequences of the two recent wars.

As the Telegram channel "Free Iran" reports, the head of state noted that the decline in oil revenues, difficulties with import logistics, and the destruction of a number of industrial enterprises have aggravated financial problems and increased pressure on the government. According to him, the rise in prices inside the country is directly linked to the increase in the cost of imported goods, which are no longer delivered directly.

Pezeshkian emphasized that the destruction of factories and plants has not only deprived the state of tax revenues but has also required additional budget subsidies to support the affected enterprises.
