Lavrov: Japan crossed the line of decency in statements about Putin's visit to the Kuril Islands
Tokyo crossed the line of decency in unacceptable statements about Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to the Kuril Islands.
This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"Our Japanese colleagues, neighbors, of course, crossed the line of decency in their absolutely unacceptable statements that the president of the Russian Federation cannot visit any part of the territory of the Russian Federation," he said at a press conference following talks with Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
According to him, the Japanese ambassador must come to the Foreign Ministry, where he will be spoken to about the protest over Putin's visit to Iturup and about the approach to his work in Russia.
