Doha says a new agreement between the U.S. and Iran is possible

Doha considers it possible that a new agreement will be concluded between the United States and Iran, which would make it possible to completely end the current conflict.

This was stated by the official representative of Qatar's Foreign Ministry, Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari.

"Our task now is to achieve a cease-fire once again, to stop the ongoing escalation and to bring the parties back to negotiations," the diplomat said. At the same time, he noted that Washington and Tehran could "reach a new agreement that will completely put an end to this war."

Qatar is working to restore the cease-fire regime between the United States and Iran, the Foreign Ministry representative reported.
