New resignations expected in Armenia's government

The question of the possible resignation of Diaspora Affairs Commissioner Zare Sinanyan and the head of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, Tsovinar Tadevosyan, is being discussed in Armenia's government, the newspaper "Hraparak" writes.

According to the publication, the most likely candidate for the post of diaspora affairs commissioner is former Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Daniel Danielyan. What position Sinanyan himself will receive is not reported.

As for Tadevosyan, the newspaper writes that her friend, Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan, is trying to keep her in the post.

The publication notes that it was Galyan who asked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to hold off on dismissing Tadevosyan.

"The minister asked to give the head of the Service one more chance, proposing to hold discussions in the government during which they will be able to prove the effectiveness of Tadevosyan's work. Pashinyan accepted this proposal," the article claims.

Earlier, the media wrote that the deputy head of Armenia's Interior Ministry, chief of the Rescue Service Aram Ghazaryan, could head the Penitentiary Service.
