Renowned Azerbaijani cinematographer Amin Novruzov dies

Honored Art Worker of Azerbaijan, renowned cinematographer Amin Novruzov, has died.

As reported by the State Film Fund of Azerbaijan, Amin Novruzeli oglu Novruzov worked as an assistant cameraman and second cameraman from the late 1960s, taking part in the creation of a number of well-known films of Azerbaijani cinema.

In 1978–1983, he studied at the cinematography faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in the workshop of V. Yusov.

As a director of photography, Amin Novruzov shot the films “Musiqili xaş”, “Cin mikrorayonda”, “Süd dişinin ağrısı”, “Bəxt üzüyü”, “Özgə vaxt”, “Ləqəbi ‘İKA’dır”, “Arxada qalmış gələcək” and “Yalan”.

In 2000, Amin Novruzov was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Art Worker of Azerbaijan.”
