Another Batch of Grain Sent to Armenia via Transit Through Azerbaijan
Another shipment of Russian grain, transiting through the territory of Azerbaijan, was sent to Armenia on Thursday from the Baladjary railway station.
As reported by AZERTAC, the freight train consisting of 7 wagons is carrying a total of 488 tons of grain.
Along the train's route, the cargo will first be delivered to the Boyuk-Kesik railway station and then proceed towards Armenia through the territory of Georgia.
It should be noted that, to date, more than 23,000 tons of grain and over 700 tons of fertilizers have been sent from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan. Such transit shipments through Azerbaijan contribute to the expansion of transport and communication links in the region and enhance the efficiency of international freight transportation.
