Brent oil price falls more than 1.2%

Oil prices are falling, as traders await the next round of Iran-US talks in Doha and monitor the situation around the Strait of Hormuz.

As reported by Report, trading data indicate this.

The price of August futures for Brent crude on the London ICE Futures exchange stood at $72.26 per barrel, which is 1.22% lower than at the close of previous trading. The expiration of August Brent contracts on the exchange is Tuesday. The quote for the more actively traded September futures decreased by 0.61%, to $73.46 per barrel.

August futures for WTI crude on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell in price by 0.95%, to $70.08 per barrel.
