The 2026 FIFA World Cup brought multimillion-dollar incomes not only to organizers and sponsors, but also to world celebrities who participated in advertising campaigns, commercial projects, and the concert program of the tournament.

Former England captain David Beckham topped the estimated earnings list, making around 19 million pounds sterling (approximately 43.9 million manats) during the championship, reports 1news.az citing The Sun.

According to the publication, the former footballer appeared in advertising campaigns for Bank of America, Lay's, Home Depot, McDonald's, Stella Artois, and Adidas. Analysts estimate that these contracts earned the Beckham family about 19 million pounds during the World Cup.

Colombian singer Shakira took second place in the ranking, with earnings estimated at 15 million pounds (about 34.7 million manats). Experts link this amount to a sharp rise in streams of her music, commercial activity around the tournament, and performances at the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup. This marks Shakira's fourth World Cup appearance.

Canadian singer Justin Bieber, who performed at the halftime show of the final match, and Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet, who fronted an Adidas advertising campaign during the World Cup, each earned 12 million pounds (about 27.7 million manats), according to analysts.

BLACKPINK member Lisa received about 9 million pounds (roughly 20.8 million manats). A significant portion of her income came from advertising deals with international brands targeting the World Cup audience.

Queen of pop Madonna, who joined the halftime show of the final alongside football legends Ronaldinho and Ronaldo, earned around 4 million pounds (approximately 9.2 million manats).

In addition, Brooklyn Beckham earned about 1 million pounds (around 2.3 million manats) for participating in a DoorDash advertising campaign, while British singer Susan Boyle received approximately 500 thousand pounds (about 1.2 million manats) through a partnership with the Irn-Bru brand.

The Sun notes that the figures represent an estimate of the celebrities' total income related to the World Cup, including advertising contracts, sponsorship deals, commercial projects, and increased popularity, rather than fees for performances during the tournament.
