Court in Ukraine selects preventive measure for former US ambassador Stefanyshina
The High Anti-Corruption Court is selecting a preventive measure for former Ukrainian ambassador to the US Olga Stefanyshina.
This is reported by "Suspilne" citing the court's press service.
The court hearing is being held behind closed doors at the request of the defense. What Stefanyshina is suspected of has not been officially reported. According to sources of "Ukrainska Pravda", she is charged with illegal enrichment.
On August 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Stefanyshina from the post of ambassador to the US. After that, she stated that she resigned of her own free will. "This is my own decision, dictated by personal circumstances that were mentioned earlier," the former ambassador noted.
