Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan will consider an attack on one country an attack on all

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have signed a joint defense agreement under which an attack on one of the countries will be regarded as an attack on all parties to the treaty.

This was reported by the Al Arabiya television channel.

"The agreement is aimed at strengthening joint deterrence of any aggression and stipulates that any armed attack on one of the three countries is an attack on all," says the joint statement following the summit in Mecca, the text of which is cited by the television channel.

The document, titled the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, was signed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
