Train with Russian wheat and coal for Armenia departs from Baladjary station

A freight train consisting of 25 cars with Russian wheat and coal departed from the Baladjary station of Azerbaijan Railways, heading to Armenia in transit through the territory of Azerbaijan.

The cargo consists of 15 cars of wheat with a total weight of 1,049 tons and 10 cars of coal with a total weight of 700 tons.

Next, the train will proceed through the railway station Beyuk-Kyasik to Georgia, from where it will head to Armenia.

To date, more than 37 thousand tons of wheat, about 9 thousand tons of fertilizers, 1,136 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 414 tons of anthracite, and 67 thousand tons of lumber have been delivered from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.

In addition, about 15 thousand tons of diesel fuel and about 5 thousand tons of gasoline of grades AI-92 and AI-95 have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
